New York, NY—Today, New York State Governor Kathy Hochul issued a letter to President Biden, urging him to direct additional federal resources to the State of New York as it contends with the continued busing of asylum seekers to New York City. Earlier this week, she issued an Executive Order that is providing the State with greater flexibility to procure the resources necessary for municipalities to support asylum seekers.

Immigrant Advocates Condemn Mayor Adams’ Plan to Move Asylum Seekers to Upstate Hotels
