New York, NY—Today, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California blocked the Biden Administration’s asylum ban. This unlawful policy was put in place at the end of Title 42 in May, and has been used to deny migrants their right to claim asylum.

New York—Yesterday, the Schenectady County Legislature passed a resolution directing their County Manager to issue a state of emergency and emergency order that temporarily prohibits New York City from relocating asylum seekers to Schenectady County.
